For those of you who remember that GameStop poster we saw yesterday, it turns out GameStop has released a commercial for the promotion. Showcasing brand new footage, the video states that if you preorder Destiny from GameStop you will receive the Upgraded Red Sparrow (Otherwise known as the Shrike). The Upgraded Red Sparrow comes complete with better acceleration and a higher top speed. I have a feeling many people will not like this “exclusive bonus” because it gives more away than just a cosmetic benefit. This week at Bungie, we played some Destiny. “You always say that!” Guilty as charged, friends. The path that leads to a great day-one Destiny experience – one that vaults our bar and yours – is cleared by many playtests. If it makes you feel any better, many of the early runs feel a bit like hacking our way through dense brush. It’s dark, but still sweltering. We’re wildly swinging the machete, carving a new path. DestinyTheGame.com website has just received a new facelift and it is looking great. There are even a few new graphics that you can check out. This is definitely getting me excited to play the game. Polygon has confirmed that come next Monday, they will be covering their latest visit to Bungie HQ. Hopefully this means that we will be receiving a plethora of new Destiny details. Whether this means we will get new footage is unknown, but it seems we will receive new screenshots at the very least. Check out their article preview here. Get excited!
