Weekly Raid Lockouts
Raiding in Destiny will be tough! Gamespot’s recent article gives a good outline about the challenge that Destiny’s raids will bring. Will you seek help from other sources, or tackle it with just the help of your 5 friends? [divider] Destiny’s six-player raid missions are going to be so tough that you’ll likely need to access a walkthrough on the Internet to help get your squad through to the end. That’s according to Bungie design lead Luke Smith, who says that the game’s raid missions were purposefully designed to not give players much information or direction. “For the majority of
Destiny will require “up to 40 GB”
For the Xbox One at least, images of the retail copy of Destiny have been revealed which show the storage space that we’ll eventually need. Those who have already pre-loaded Destiny – on either PS4 or Xbox One – know that the install size for the base game clocks in somewhere around 18GB, but the retail box claims the game’s full scale could reach as high as 40GB. Of course, this is only a recommendation by Bungie. As the game progresses and the content expands, the GB size will inevitability get bigger too. At launch Destiny’s game size is unlikely to be any more than 30 GB, though with the future
Behind the Scenes at Bungie
The Guardian just released an article that covers the behind the scenes aspects of the world’s most expensive video game. [divider] On the wall are multiple LCD displays showing graphs, maps and streams of data; this small windowless box, hidden away in a cavernous converted multiplex in Washington, is crowded with serious-looking people hunched over keyboards, amid a mass of cables and high-spec PCs. It looks like a Nasa control room, and the people working here are as smart as rocket scientists. But this isn’t a launch site – this is a game development studio. What these people are waiting for is the

Auto Rifle Weapon Guide
My name is Byf takes a look into Destiny’s weapons. In this weapon guide video he covers Rare, Legendary and Exotic Auto Rifles. He also investigates many of the upgrades that can be made to AR’s, as well as what build’s this weapon excels in with the classes (Hunter/Titan/Warlock). Whilst there is no best weapon or weapon type in Destiny, there are some strong contenders in the AR category. The standard Automatic Rifle is ideal for a number of combat scenarios. The base model features fully-automatic firing, with a rate and duration-of-fire specific to the pressure applied to the trigger. Minions of the Darkness
As of the Beta, we know that Destiny will feature four enemy species: the Fallen, Hive, Cabal and Vex. This article will discuss each enemy in-depth, as well as speculate on a type of enemy that may or may not exist. [divider] Fallen Hive Cabal For more about the Cabal, click here. Vex For more about the Vex, click here. [divider] Could the Fallen, Hive, Cabal, or Vex be considered the minions of the Darkness? Does the Darkness completely consume them and morph them into something even more sinister? Or are these minions something completely different? Little is known about the Darkness, besides that it’s an ancient &
Vault of Glass Raid Armor & Weapons
Published on: Aug 29, 2014 @ 22:10 In the latest weekly update, Luke Smith gave us some insight into raid-specific armor sets and weapons. Q: What’s kind of loot will I get in the Raid? A: Each class has an entire set of gear to chase across the two difficulties. And of course, there are Raid weapons. Each of Destiny’s nine weapon archetypes (Auto Rifle, Hand Cannon, Pulse Rifle, Fusion Rifle, HMG, Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun and Scout Rifle) has a Legendary version that has been created specifically for the Raid. The armor and weapons are completely unique to the
