This time, we are gonna think long and hard about The Tower and how deeply, or rather how highly intricate it may be. (Get it? Because The Tower is high and tall? So it’s highly intricate? :3 … :c Okay..) [divider] Old News Before we get into the wonderful world of ‘what if’s’ n such, lets take a gander at what we know thus far. The Tower is located within the walls of the last safe city on Earth. It is a third person

Bungie Weekly Update 3.28.14
This week at Bungie, we welcomed some hungry new friends into our kitchen. One of the best parts of managing the Bungie Community is giving people their first taste of what we’re cooking up. I get to remove the lids from our cauldrons and pass them a spoon. In truth, what I really do is sit them down in front of a dev kit and drop a controller into their hands, but you get the idea. Destiny gets a little more delicious every week. With so many cooks stirring the brew, you would expect the aroma to get a little

Even the shortest distance between two points might offer a glimpse at something brand new, unexpected, and amazing. Yesterday, Parsons caught me window shopping, and pointed me in the right direction with a helpful emote. “Go that way.

Faceware Technologies, the leading innovator and most experienced provider of markerless 3D facial motion capture solutions, announced that video game developer, Bungie, Inc., has chosen to use Faceware’s Professional Facial Motion Capture Product Line to add lifelike expressions and human-realistic emotions to Destiny’s characters. Faceware’s markerless motion capture system was previously used on Halo: Reach. The product line uses video to capture every detail of an actor’s face, and computer vision software to transfer that performance quickly to digital characters, giving Bungie’s artists a detailed first pass to which they can then add greater detail to their characters. The ease
Shrikes on Demand
Recently the Destiny twitter account tweeted that players will be able to summon their personal shrike on demand to travel quickly. Learn more about the Shrike vehicle here. In addition to this, the Destiny twitter also stated that players will be able to easily analyze the components of another guardian’ s build. I like this addition because it doesn’t leave you wondering what other guardians have equipped.
