Armsday Weapon Recommendations (Jan 6-10)

Incoming Shipments #1 or #3 – Cocytus SR4 | Scout Rifle Triple Tap, Quickdraw, Firefly Rescue mag, Extended mag, Eye of the storm/Firefly Omolon Scout Rifles have perk pools geared heavily towards PvE, and this roll is a perfect example of a great PvE roll. Triple Tap and Firefly make taking out the trash in PvE so much fun! Firefly will cause high-damage explosions on precision kills, and Triple Tap will award you more bullets for chaining precision shots. We would have wanted a stability-increasing perk instead of Rifled Barrel, but instead, we’ll go with Quickdraw to improve weapon handling.

Crucible New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions It’s 2016 and time to stop and think about how we’re approaching the Crucible these days. Bones, Birds and Swain have come up with a set of resolutions to maximize their enjoyment in Destiny.  Stay Positive – In the realm of evolving strategies and metagame where the competitive side is brought out of everyone, it’s sometimes too easy to go on tilt and get frustrated. But the fact is, if we’re not having fun, then we’re not getting the most out of Destiny. If the Crucible is aggravating, then it may be time to rethink our approach

Published on: Dec 30, 2015 @ 07:56 Incoming Shipments #1 – Judith-D | Hand Cannon Crowd Control, Spray and Play, Hand-Loaded/High-Caliber Rounds We’ve got some PvE rolls on tap this week for this high-impact Hand Cannon, and overall, Rank #1 has the most synergy for add management. Crowd Control and Spray and Play reward you for killing, killing and killing some more. The damage bonus from Crowd Control is great when moving from enemy to enemy, and as long as you empty your whole clip, you’ll have a fast reload to count on due to Spray and Play. Hand-Loaded is

Jon explains that auto rifles, especially the high-impact archetypes, are especially sensitive to small changes. He also points out that according to their numbers and feedback, the high-RoF archetype is already in a very good spot. Doctrine of

Armsday Weapon Recommendations (Dec 23-27)

Published on: Dec 23, 2015 @ 07:26 Incoming Shipments #2 – Arminius-D | Auto Rifle Crowd Control, Rangefinder, Smallbore/Fitted Stock This gun desperately needs range, and Rangefinder+Smallbore is a good combination for bringing up range past sneezing distance. Despite Bungie’s databases listing the gun’s magazine size as 48, the actual magazine size is 72, so Smallbore is a no-guilt boost here. Crowd Control is great for PvE and situationally effective in PvP, so it isn’t a bad choice here. After some field-testing with the Arminius-D, we’ve determined that you may want to hold on to a package until you get Counterbalance, as

They also had plenty of their own insight they wanted to share.  [divider] Auto Rifles?!
