Xur Location and Inventory | 2/7-2/9

Greetings, Guardians. A little birdie told me that Xur is at the Tower this weekend, chilling in the Hangar. Let’s see what rare things are on sale today.

This week, for 29 Legendary Shards, Xur carries:

Black Talon

Xur has decided to hit us with a rerun from last month, in the form of the Black Talon Exotic Sword. I don’t have any new tech for it, so here’s my synopsis from then:

Black Talon is an Exotic Void sword capable of firing a ranged attack after two consecutive heavy swings, thanks to the Crow’s Wings perk. To reward you for hitting that attack, Tireless Blade gives you ammo on powerful blow kills. If you like Swords, or at least the potential of a Sword with ranged attacks, pick it up and try it out.

From 7 Jan

And for 23 Legendary Shards, Xur offers:

Aeon Soul

Aeon Soul is a set of Warlock Gauntlets (Arc this week) that are designed to help other people wearing Aeon gear. The Aeon Energy Exotic Perk gives other Aeon users class energy whenever you throw a Grenade. Non-Aeon users get some too, but that doesn’t really make this armor any kind of good. If you really want them, they’re available through the Curse of Osiris campaign. Don’t touch these

Knucklehead Radar

Knucklehead Radar is a classic Hunter helmet with a simple and useful perk. The Upgraded Sensor Pack keeps your radar up, even while ADS. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done, especially in your more competitive PVP modes. Just remember not to run it with guns that keep your radar up already, Knucklehead. If you don’t have this helmet, pick up a Void one from Xur today.

Lion Rampant

Lion Rampant is a niche set of Titan legs. Their Jump Jets perk grants aerial mobility and airborne hipfire accuracy. That’s super situational, but definitely neat if it pays off. Xur has an Arc set for sale; try them out. Run rampant. Become a sky lion.

Xur also carries an Exotic Engram, providing a random piece of Exotic armor for 97 Legendary Shards, the Five of Swords for Nightfalls, and The Invitation of the Nine for 9 Legendary Shards, if you haven’t completed that quest yet.

Xur has been hitting us with the reruns and weird stuff lately. Black Talon is nice, but we’ve had it pretty recently. Hey, better than Lucky Pants, right? See you next week, Guardians.
