Happy Xur Day, everybody! This week, our nomadic Agent of the Nine is on Titan, in a small structure north of The Rig area.
This week, for 29 Legendary Shards, Xur carries:
Black Talon is an Exotic Void sword capable of firing a ranged attack after two consecutive heavy swings, thanks to the Crow’s Wings perk. To reward you for hitting that attack, Tireless Blade gives you ammo on powerful blow kills. If you like Swords, or at least the potential of a Sword with ranged attacks, pick it up and try it out.
And for 23 Legendary Shards, Xur offers:
Do you find yourself constantly getting a blasted mid-Fist of Havoc? I didn’t think so, but in case you are, Xur provides an Arc Eternal Warrior helmet. Resolute, its Exotic perk, gives you an overshield while launching Fist of Havoc. Probably a solid helmet for some PvE content, but that’s about it, as far as I can guess.
Hunters this week can politely smile and nod at the Void Lucky Pants Xur carries this week. If you’re a Hand Cannon viruoso, the Illegally Modded Holster the pants come with will help, allowing you to ready Hand Cannons faster and partially reload when stowed. I can’t recommend these, especially because you can get a pair in the early stages of the game…
Rounding out the “go fast” boot line from past weeks, Xur offers Warlocks a set of Arc Transversive Steps. Their Strange Protractor perk raises your sprinting speed while reloading Energy weapons for you. Going fast is never bad, so I’d recommend grabbing these boots.
Xur also carries an Exotic Engram, providing a random piece of Exotic armor for 97 Legendary Shards, the Five of Swords for Nightfalls, and The Invitation of the Nine for 9 Legendary Shards, if you haven’t completed that quest yet.
Kind of a light one this week, as Xur doesn’t have anything too exciting. Grab the Steps if you don’t have them; everything else seems pretty optional. See you next weekend!
