At reset, we got access to our first Heavy Exotic Bow, Leviathan’s Breath. This is the first Exotic quest we’ve had in Season of the Undying, and unlike some previous exotic quests, this one is short and sweet. Below, we’ll list the steps needed to get Leviathan’s Breath. Go see Banshee-44 to start things off. He will have the quest available, asking you to find his hidden workshop within the Tower.
The Back Way
Head to the Hangar. As you come in, turn right and take the stairs closest to the wall. Follow them until you get to the top and take a right. Follow that path past the next set of steps. Turn left from there and jump onto the little section just left from where you are. Jump over to the area directly in front of you, turn the corner, and follow the path through the tube, to a vent that will take you into a red room. Turn left and you’ll immediately see a door. Go through the door and you’ll find another vent in the floor. Drop through it and jump out the other side. You’ll now be in a green room; there will be an exit directly in front of you. Go through there, turn right, and you’ll enter a room with shelves. Jump over the yellow rails, but do not exit the room. You’ll see a box next to the shelves closest to the exit that you can jump onto to reach the top of the shelves. In the ceiling is another vent that you’ll want to climb into. Walk through it and drop out the other side. Follow the path going to the last tube, and take a left. This will take you into another area with platforms to jump on in the walls. Jump onto them, then onto the next, higher-up bridge, then through the exit. Drop down a vent, follow it to the end, and you’ll be in Banshee-44’s secret workshop. Investigate the cabinet with Leviathan’s Breath inside to progress to the next quest step.
Where Are the Keys, Sir
Go back to Banshee-44 and he will inform you that you need to re-create the key to open the cabinet.
Intro to Safecracking 101
You’ll now need to either do Gambit or Strikes to progress to the next step in the quest. Gambit Prime and Nightfalls give the most progress; I got this step done by doing two 920 Nightfalls.
Advanced Safecracking 201
Next, you’ll need to get precision bow kills on Vex or Cabal enemies. The easiest way to do this, as reported, is to head to the Leviathan raid and kill the Cabal in the Castellum section as you enter.
Economics of War
Once that step is finished, you will be able to do an “epic reprised” version of the Arms Dealer strike. This version of the strike is matchmade and on the Director on Earth to choose. It’s not particularly tough, but does have Blackout, Iron and more damage from elemental sources, so be careful. Finish the strike and head back to Banshee-44.
Applied Cryptosecurity
Head back to Banshee-44, and he will give you the key to his workshop.

Head back to the workshop and claim your Leviathan’s Breath.
The quest is as simple as that. All in all, it may take you an hour or two, but it’s a fun weapon and, in my experience so far, very good in PvP and Gambit! Get out there and earn it for yourself, Guardians. And don’t forget to let us know what you think of Leviathan’s Breath below in the comments!
