Xur Location and Inventory | 9/17 – 9/20/2021

Greetings, Guardians. Hope you’re having a great day. Xur is at the Tower this weekend. Read on to peruse his wares.

This week, for 29 Legendary Shards, Xur carries:

Merciless

Merciless, an Exotic Fusion Rifle, has a bit of a history in this game. Once one of the best weapons you could be using for endgame PvE content, its star has fallen considerably, to the point where it’s now… still pretty good at clearing enemies, but outclassed. Conserve Momentum, Merciless’ Exotic Perk, shines against bosses and yellow mobs, lowering the charge time every time it doesn’t kill its target. Honestly, I still consider Merciless worth the pickup. It’s a fun gun to fire, and is still capable of massacring anything you point it at.

And for 23 Legendary Shards, Xur offers:

Geomag Stabilizers

Are you a Stormcaller who enjoys firing Kamehamehas? Xur is here to help you out with a set of Geomag Stabilizers. The Exotic Warlock legs top off your Chaos Reach Super Energy when you’re at about 80% thanks to the Close Enough perk. Close Enough also extends Chaos Reach duration when you hit enemies with it, giving you more beam for more time.

Shards of Galanor

Shards of Galanor is a sharp set of Hunter Gauntlets for your knife-inclined Gunslinger. Sharp Edges gives you Super Energy for each Blade Barrage hit and kill, but only after you’ve finished the Barrage. Throw knives, get kills, get more knives again sooner. It’s that easy.

One-Eyed Mask

Titans get a fancy hat this week; the terrifying One-Eyed Mask. The Mask gives you the gift of Vengeance, giving you an overshield and damage boost after you kill someone who dared to touch you in combat. The Mask is an excellent pickup, absolutely worth the grab.

Xur also carries an Exotic Engram, providing a random piece of Exotic armor for 97 Legendary Shards, along with the Exotic Quest “The Question.”

The Witch Queen DLC added Legendary weapons and armor to Xur’s weekly drops, at 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer per item. They are:

See you next week!
