Everyone’s favorite Agent of the Nine, Xur, has returned to spread some early Christmas cheer. You can find him near The Rig on Titan, in a small area safe from the ongoing Fallen/Hive conflict.
This week, for 23 Legendary Shards, Xur carries:
The Two-Tailed Fox
In case you didn’t pre-order Shadowkeep, Xur has brought The Two-Tailed Fox for purchase. The Exotic Rocket Launcher’s unique perk, Twintails, fires a Solar and Void rocket simultaneously. The Play With Your Prey trait augments these rockets; the Void shot supresses, while the Solar does damage over time. The launcher also has Confined Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, and Composite Stock. It might not be meta-defining, but it’s a ton of fun and extra stylish.
Dunemarchers
For Titans like to go fast and punch hard, Xur carries a set of Arc Dunemarchers. The Linear Actuators Exotic perk raises your sprint speed and allows you to chain melee damage to extra foes after sprinting for long enough. They’re a great piece of armor, and definitely worth the pickup if you don’t have them yet.
Contraverse Hold
Warlocks in need of some damage resistance can grab a Void Contraverse Hold from Xur this weekend. Its Exotic perk, Chaotic Exchanger, allows you to resist some damage while charging your Void grenade of choice, and get a random amount of grenade energy back on a hit. If the RNG gods haven’t hooked you up with the Contraverse Hold yet, now’s the time to invest.
Assassin’s Cowl
And finally, for the Hunters, Xur has brought a Void Assassin’s Cowl. This Exotic helmet allows you to stab and scramble with its Vanishing Execution perk, which gives invisibility and restores some health and shields after a successful Guardian melee defeat or a finisher on any combatant. If you like a dangerous, hit-and-run melee play style, give it a shot.
Xur also carries an Exotic Engram, providing a random piece of Exotic armor for 97 Legendary Shards, the Five of Swords for Nightfalls, and The Invitation of the Nine for 9 Legendary Shards, if you haven’t completed that quest yet.
