Hello, Guardians, and welcome back! This weekend, Xur has done is a favor and decided to hang out in the hangar of the Tower. Read on to see what wonderful Exotics the Nine has decided to send in this week.
This week, for 29 Legendary Shards, Xur carries:
Coldheart
Worry no more, collectors; Xur is finally selling Coldheart again. This Exotic Trace Rifle was originally a pre-order bonus before Curse of Osiris dropped.
Think of it a bit as the ice to Prometheus Lens’ fire. Coldheart’s Exotic perk, Cold Fusion, lets you fire an Arc beam (because Cold damage is not a thing). This pairs with the Longest Winter secondary perk, which amps damage the longer you stay on target. If you don’t have it, grab it and give it a try; it’s a pretty cool gun.
And for 23 Legendary Shards, Xur offers:
Crown of Tempests
Are you a Stormcaller who just doesn’t feel like they’re lawnmowing enough enemies? Xur has you covered with this week’s Exotic Warlock Helmet, the Crown of Tempests. The Crown’s Conduction Tines perk lets Arc ability kills recharge Arc abilities, all while increasing the duration of your Arc Super. Stormcallers are in a solid spot right now, so pick up this fancy hat and never stop Arcing.
Knucklehead Radar
Knucklehead Radar is a classic Hunter helmet with a simple and useful perk. The Upgraded Sensor Pack keeps your radar up, even while ADS. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done, especially in your more competitive PVP modes. Just remember not to run it with guns that keep your radar up already, Knucklehead.
The Armamentarium
You know what’s never bad? An extra grenade. Titans can opt into that simple, yet effective philosophy this week by picking up The Armamentarium. And Another Thing gives you another grenade charge to blast your enemies with. Sometimes, that’s all you need. Pick it up if you don’t have it.
Xur also carries an Exotic Engram, providing a random Exotic piece for 97 Legendary Shards, the Five of Swords for Nightfalls, and The Invitation of the Nine for 9 Legendary Shards, if you haven’t completed that quest yet.
