The Jade Rabbit
The Jade Rabbit is an Exotic Kinetic Scout Rifle with a nice aesthetic and a fun Exotic Perk. The Fate of All Fools lets you chain body shots to make the next precision shot deal bonus damage and return ammo directly to your magazine. It’s also the author of this column’s absolute favorite gun in the game. It feels great to use and the Exotic perk lets you be a bit sneaky with your damage output in PvP settings. I’m definitely biased, but The Jade Rabbit is definitely a solid gun. Grab it if you don’t have one.
And for 23 Legendary Shards, Xur offers:
Geomag Stabilizers
Are you a Stormcaller who enjoys firing Kamehamehas? Xur is here to help you out with a set of Geomag Stabilizers. The Exotic Warlock legs top off your Chaos Reach Super energy when you’re at about 80% thanks to the Close Enough perk. Close Enough also extends Chaos Reach duration when you hit enemies with it, giving you more beam for more time. Definitely an interesting piece, but Warlocks have a lot of great options, and this one is somewhat niche.
The Sixth Coyote

Xur has realized that Hunters need to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge more, so he offers them a Void The Sixth Coyote this week. The Sixth Coyote comes with the Double Dodge Exotic perk, allowing users to… double dodge. Useful? Sure. Gamebreaking? Nah. Grab it if you need it.

Hallowfire Heart
Solar Titans get a neat chest piece this week, as Xur offers the Hallowfire Heart. The Heart brings the heat via the Sunfire Furnace Exotic perk, lowering the cooldown on your Solar abilities. Cooldown is even faster when your Super is up. Another niche piece, but give it a shot if you’re into the perk or the aesthetic.
Xur also carries an Exotic Engram, providing a random Exotic piece for 97 Legendary Shards, the Five of Swords for Nightfalls, and The Invitation of the Nine for 9 Legendary Shards, if you haven’t completed that quest yet.
Not too much to say about Xur’s goods this week. The armors are all pretty niche; try them if they fit your playstyle. The Jade Rabbit is a good gun that feels great to shoot; get it if at all possible. I can’t push it enough; you just have to fire it to know.
