Xur Location and Inventory | 6/5 – 6/8

Greetings, Guardians. This week, Xur is preparing for the beginning of summer by hiding out on Titan, near the Rig area. Read on to see what goods he’s decided to bring this week.

This week, for 29 Legendary Shards, Xur carries:

Suros Regime

A D1 Exotic given new life in D2, Suros Regime is a Kinetic Auto Rifle that’s built to handle most situations. Choose to spray harder with Spinning Up slowly increasing rate of fire. Trade some of that fire rate for damage and precision while ADS with the Regime’s DualSpeed Receiver. Feeling light on health? The Suros Legacy intrinsic perk lets each shot in the bottom half of the mag do bonus damage and have a chance to heal on kill. The gun does a little bit of everything and feels good to shoot; pick it up and enjoy those smooth lines and nice kills.

And for 23 Legendary Shards, Xur offers:

Claws of Ahamkara

The Claws of Ahamkara are a simple, yet effective set of Warlock Gauntlets, oh bearer mine. Their Exotic Perk, The Whispers, grants an extra melee charge. Warlock melee abilities are by and large pretty good, so this is a pretty generally good pickup.

St0mp-EE5s

For Hunters that want to move faster, jump higher, and slide further, Xur provides some St0mp-EE5s. Their Hydraulic Boosters perk… does everything I said in the last sentence, and that’s great, because mobility is generally a very nice thing. The Stompies are a great pickup, to the point where I find myself unable to sell them harder. Good leg armor. Grab them if you need them.

Stronghold

Are you a Titan that loves to swing a Sword? If you fit that niche, the Stronghold gauntlets are for you. Their Clenched Fist perk gives you movement speed while blocking with a Sword, stops the block from draining ammo, and even heals you if you time the block correctly. If you’re a Titan that prefers to get up close and personal with something other than your fists, check it out.

Xur also carries an Exotic Engram, providing a random Exotic piece for 97 Legendary Shards, the Five of Swords for Nightfalls, and The Invitation of the Nine for 9 Legendary Shards, if you haven’t completed that quest yet.

Xur continues a streak of pretty nice things. The Suros Regime, if nothing else, feels great to fire and gives you some versatility in combat. Claws and St0mp-EE5s are generally good and useful, and the Stronghold serves a small, underserved part of the population; sword Titans. Try stuff out, see what feels best for you. Xur has the goods, but remember; his will is not his own.

See you next week!
