Published on: Aug 26, 2015 @ 19:22 If Nightstalker had the most changes, and Sunbreaker the fewest, then Stormcaller falls somewhere in between. The new Warlock subclass was more than just bare bones, but had a few perks that didn’t connect strongly to the tone or feel of the class, and a few more whose abilities were ill-defined or lacking. Bungie has spiffed up the Sith Lord for their final build, and we’re excited to take a second look, straight into the eye of the storm. Sunbreaker Subclass Overview: Updated!
Published on: Aug 26, 2015 @ 18:13 Our discussion of the subclass redesigns continues with the Sunbreaker. The Solar Titan is largely unchanged, with a few perks shuffled around and a few descriptions altered for clarity, but there are still some notable differences we’ll outline for you. As always, you’ll hear what we have to think about each talent and how it compares to the initial set that was shown at E3. [divider] Sunbreaker Grenades Much like the Nightstalker, the Sunbreaker’s grenades haven’t changed a bit. In fact, the only change is to the name of the Sunbreaker’s unique grenade:
Nightstalker Subclass Overview: Updated!
Published on: Aug 26, 2015 @ 14:03 A great designer’s work is never done, and this is why we warn you that no builds are final until all is said and done. Having said that, we’ve seen some changes to the new subclasses – some good, some not so much. We’re going to do our best to spell out in simple terms what changed, and give a brief analysis of the new perk’s benefit vs. the old perk’s benefit, as well as to provide other relevant or pertinent information that will help you decide on how you feel about these

PvP Reforge Guide: Special & Heavy
Published on: Aug 8, 2015 @ 13:40 We continue our PvP Reforge Guide with Special and Heavy weapons. Special Weapons in particular are central to the competitive metagame; the difference between a properly and poorly rolled Shotgun can mean the difference between life and death. Snipers and Fusion Rifles are high skill weapons that will be seeing more use as Shot Package and Rangefinder are made less appealing, so ensuring their potential is met will be equally important. Finally, Heavy weapons are and will remain the best way to steamroll an opposing team with momentum, with Rockets providing a fire-and-forget
PvP Reforge Guide: Primary Weapons
Published on: Aug 1, 2015 @ 19:08 As PvE content has begun to grow stale, many Guardians are gravitating toward the Crucible to tackle the challenge of the Trials of Osiris, or amass wins to round off their Grimoire score. To cap it off, patch 2.0 is on the horizon, which promises to even out the balance of some of the Crucible’s most overpowered standby weapons. To this end, many Guardians are seeing the wisdom in seeking out more obscure weapons and reforging them in anticipation for the coming nerfs. In order to reforge with confidence, it’s important to know
Does Toughness Matter in PvP?
Published on: Jul 20, 2015 @ 06:52 The effect of Armor (toughness) in PvP is a tricky subject and isn’t very easy to test. Is it worth having a maximum Armor rating, sacrificing Recovery and/or Agility? This guide will hopefully answer that question while also shedding some light on how Armor works and what your focus should be on. [divider] What is Armor? What is Health? Note: Armor in this guide refers to toughness; the class stat. While this may seem obvious to some, it’s important to understand exactly what affects armor and how it helps us.
