#2 – SUROS DIS-43
- High-Caliber Rounds/Feather Mag, Rangefinder, Snapshot/Rifled Barrel
- Perfect Balance/Appended Magazine, Rangefinder, Snapshot/Injection Mold
- Hammer Forged/Feather Mag, Rangefinder, Snapshot/Reinforced Barrel
Roll #2 is solid for PvP with a good stat blend. Perfect Balance and Injection Mold take care of stability and handling while Rangefinder adds some overkill in the range category. If you’re looking for a PvE-centered roll, you’ll want to wait until next week. The PvE wish list includes perks such as Full Auto or Spray and Play.
#1 or 2 – Gaheris-D
- Crowd Control, Feeding Frenzy, Snapshot/Armor-Piercing Rounds/Oiled Frame
- Surrounded, Final Round, Snapshot/High-Caliber Rounds/Reinforced Barrel
- Surrounded, Zen Moment, Snapshot/Armor-Piercing Rounds/Oiled Frame
It’s not the sexiest roll, but #2 is actually all you could ask for in a PvP Hand Cannon. Surrounded doesn’t look great, but nothing substantial could take its place. Final Round is a damage bonus you can count on, and Reinforced Barrel is a required range boost in the PvP meta. Pick this up if you were waiting on the perfect PvP roll.
Meanwhile, #1 is a PvE S-tier roll. Feeding Frenzy and Oiled Frame will offer insane reload speeds while Crowd Control will incentivize more ad killing with its damage bonus. Your range won’t be high, but in PvE, you can manage your engagement distance and treat this gun as a reload machine.
None – Kumakatok HC4
- Zen Moment, Single Point Sling/Braced Frame, Life Support/Eye of the Storm
- Army of One, Extended Mag/Injection Mold, Icarus/Eye of the Storm
- Mulligan, Lightweight/Injection Mold, Icarus/Danger Close
No range? No thanks. Wait until next week for some range-boosting perks or dismantle for Legendary Marks. Omolon Hand Cannons need range badly, so we can’t afford to commit to anything without a substantial range boost. Next week, look for anything with range along with Luck in the Chamber, Firefly or Outlaw.
None – Herja-D
- Last Resort, Unflinching, Snapshot/Fitted Stock/Injection Mold
- Glass Half Full, Rodeo, Single Point Sling/Fitted Stock/Injection Mold
- Danger Close, Feeding Frenzy, Snapshot/Fitted Stock/Oiled Frame
We’d also recommend waiting it out on the Herja-D. Without a reload booster like Spray and Play, its PvE utility is low. Plus, Counterbalance is always a great perk to help the recoil pattern. Look out for those two perks next week if you’re hoping for a good Herja-D.
#1 – Strongbow-D
- Final Round, Feeding Frenzy, Single Point Sling/Fitted Stock/Rifled Barrel
- Surrounded, Kneepads, Single Point Sling/Fitted Stock/Hand-Laid Stock
- Crowd Control, Kneepads, Single Point Sling/Hand Loaded/Hand-Laid Stock
As speed becomes more of a priority in the PvE grind, the need for a great PvE shotgun increases. Roll #1 is almost all you could ask for in a PvE shotgun. Keep that Final Round loaded, shoot, kill and reload another Final Round. I’m going to wait until Oiled Frame comes up in combination with Final Round and Full Auto or Spray and Play, personally, but Roll #1 checks a lot of boxes in PvE and can do some work.

Next Week’s Orders
Weapon | Type | Impact | Notable Stat |
Thesan FR4 | Fusion Rifle | High | Stability (81) |
Lyudmila-D | Pulse Rifle | Highest | Range (63) |
SUROS JLB-42 | Launcher | Blast (67) | |
Herja-D | Pulse Rifle | Medium | Stability (72) |
Eirene RR4 | Sniper Rifle | Highest | Reload (57) |
Omolon Thesan FR4
If you’re ever looking out for the perfect fusion rifle, the Thesan FR4 is a must-order. It comes in at 94 Impact and 81 Stability, so you won’t even need to worry about perks. Of course, that doesn’t mean that perks can’t help it; this gun can benefit from range perks, and reload speed is always key in Crucible and Strikes.
Hakke Lyudmila-D
With a solid roll, this gun can still do some work in PvP as a legendary primary. It has base range of 63 and stability of 54, so we’ll want to preserve the range while increasing stability to laser-like levels, and a reload perk like Feeding Frenzy would be icing on the cake. Counterbalance is going to be the key, as Hakke Pulse Rifles have an awkward recoil pattern that needs to be corrected for maximum accuracy.
SUROS JLB-42
Being a Rocket Launcher, we’re going to be most interested in the rolls rather than the stats, but this launcher will offer us the right stats to be competitive in PvE and PvP. With a high blast radius of 84, magazine size of 2 and velocity of 67, the JLB-42 will give you everything you need to hit your targets, and we highly recommend placing an order to try it out next week.
Hakke Herja-D
The Herja-D is back again for another week. It has the impact archetype of the Vanguard’s Apple of Discord with a fantastic 72 stability and 68 reload speed. Next week, we’ll be looking for Counterbalance to correct the awkward Hakke recoil pattern and more stability to make it a laser in PvE and PvP.
Omolon Eirene RR4
Order this one if you’re interested in a new Sniper Rifle. With the unique impact archetype that combines the firing rate of a Her Benevolence/1000-Yard Stare with a bit more impact, this sniper can kill revived opponents with head shots in the Crucible as well as add more damage to bosses in PvE. We’ll be praying for the Faucon SS1 Scope for the shortest zoom, but even with a bad scope, this sniper’s high impact rating will warrant usage in the raid as well as Skirmish, Elimination and Salvage.
