We thought we knew it all, but then Bungie dropped the ultimate TWAB article in what will likely serve as their final info-dump before the release of Destiny 2’s newest DLC, Shadowkeep on the 1st October. So, where does that leave us? There has been an unprecedented amount information dished out over the past few months, and I’ve done my best to outline key points below that I believe will be useful to remember before we depart for the Moon on Tuesday.

Gamescom has arrived, and with it comes much anticipated news for Destiny 2. Bungie sent a team to Germany to show off more of what we can expect from Shadowkeep and Season of the Undying. From new trailers to developer interviews, it looks like there is no end to the excitement from the independent studio. Overall, we saw yet another action packed week on the Destiny 2 front.
The Bad Juju has returned with Destiny 2’s latest DLC, The Season of Opulence. This pulse rifle was a personal favorite of mine in Destiny 1 on my Voidwalker Warlock, because it served as a very strong weapon for Guardians in everyday content such as strikes, patrols, and heroic missions.
Destiny 2’s annual Solstice of Heroes event is back! With it, we’ve received the new European Aerial Zone (EAZ) playlist, an empowered elemental mechanic for players, and another set of Solstice Armor to grind.

It is a certainty that June 6th, 2019 will go down as a momentous day for Bungie and the Destiny franchise. Just days after the release of Season of Opulence and their last obligation in their partnership with Activision, Bungie held a livestream where they made several huge announcements, mostly from Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy. After the initial presentation by them, Destiny community content creator Datto interviewed several members of the development team to get a better grasp of what is in store for the franchise.
The last few weeks have been jam packed with information from Bungie on the upcoming Season of Opulence. Getting ready for a new content drop has always been a thrilling time for players of Destiny, though it is often difficult to keep track of all the information being dropped in such a short span.
