If you haven’t already seen the many Destiny PvP gameplay videos, you can check those out here. However the video below from DattoDoesDestiny explains the mechanics of The Crucible (at the time of the Alpha). The video describes in great detail the maps that were available during the Alpha as well as the Control gametype. There’s likely to be more PvP maps and gametypes in the July 17th Beta, so be sure to keep following our updates for more juicy info!
I’ve always been a sucker for a good montage and that’s why I’m sharing this awesome one made by XeroPain. It has great clips, good editng, and most importantly it’s fun. Searching all of the nooks and crannies in the Destiny Alpha can be not only time consuming, but it can also lead you into some dangerous territory. Some players have managed to stumble upon a Hive Ogre who hides in the depths of caves. While this is a tutorial on how to find the Hive Ogre it is not a tutorial on how to kill them. Bungie has officially opened up the Destiny alpha to PS4 users who received an alpha redemption code. If you applied for the PS4 alpha make sure to check your email/spam folder for your code.
