It’s the little things that make Destiny such a unique and and entertaining shooter. That’s because Bungie’s attention to detail knows no bounds, even when it comes to the hand cannon’s trigger animation. For some reason, watching someone apply pressure to the trigger leaves me with an oddly satisfying feeling. Test it out for yourself the next time your in-game. Destiny Beta Gameplay: The Devils’ Lair is the only strike in the beta and probably the first strike in the game. In this first edition of the Guardian Field Guide, DattDoesDestiny goes over all the strategies you’ll want to know to take down the Fallen without hassle. If you haven’t already done so, please subscribe to Datto, and share his videos. He also recently took the time to reveal all of the secret locations.
Team Lag did a great job of discovering a way to gain access to the blocked off area of the “King’s Watch”. Follow the tutorial below to try it for yourself, although be warned, the enemies you find within may be a bit more powerful than you bargained for.

Destiny’s story and lore is one of the least explained and least known things about the game so far. We got a taste of the story in the beta, with two major storylines having started: The Hive’s presence on Earth and the story of Rasputin, the last Warmind. Keep in mind this is only a small sliver of the lore! To get invested into more Destiny lore, be sure to check out your Grimoire cards.

Bungie just released this video detailing what the Vanguard pre-order bonus will bring. Check out close-ups of the exclusive gear here. Pre-ordering Destiny gives you access to the Vanguard Armory, which includes: Exclusive Weapons Exclusive Armor “High above the City, in the Hall of Guardians, The Vanguard keep watch over Guardians in the wild, arming the best warriors with the upgraded weapons they need to destroy our most dangerous enemies.”
With the announcement of the June XDK update, Bungie promised to ship Destiny for Xbox One in 1080p. The video below is the first-ever 1080p Xbox One footage of the game, taken straight off an Xbox One development kit at Bungie! Graphics Engineer Chris Tchou walks us through the development build.
