Incoming Shipments
#2 or #3 – Zarinaea-D
- Relentless Tracker, Counterbalance, Rifled Barrel
- Partial Refund, Feeding Frenzy, Rifled Barrel
None of the rolls are explicitly better than the others, but roll #3 has good synergy for both PvE and PvP. With Partial Refund and Feeding Frenzy, you’ll be keeping ammo in your clip for raids and strikes, encouraging you to keep firing and taking out enemies. Feeding Frenzy in particular makes up for the reload penalty of Rifled Barrel, and Rifled Barrel’s range boost is exactly what we want for this Auto Rifle.
Honorable mention goes to Rank #2’s roll for PvP purposes. Counterbalance is just such a powerful perk for fixing recoil patterns that we can overlook the fact that Relentless Tracker is a pretty bad perk. If you’re dead set on using this gun in PvP, Counterbalance will allow you to think about things other than horizontal recoil.
#3 – Lyudmila-D
- Crowd Control, Feeding Frenzy, Hand-Laid Stock
This is basically the dream roll for PvE. Crowd Control and Feeding Frenzy will reward kills upon kills upon kills, granting you bonus damage and reload speed after every kill. Hand-Laid Stock is just icing on the cake, sacrificing some of the gun’s plentiful range for a huge stability buff. Without counterbalance as an option, you’ll want to wait next week for a roll that you can take into the Crucible, but for PvE, you can’t do much better with roll #3.
#2 – Jingukogo-D
- Final Round, Feeding Frenzy, Lightweight/Fitted Stock
There seems to be a theme of PvE rolls this week. Here, we have another Feeding Frenzy roll that should work wonders for running and gunning in strikes. Final Round can easily be manipulated: get a kill with Final Round, activate Feeding Frenzy, reload one shell and repeat for another Final Round. The choice between Lightweight and Fitted Stock is simply preference; you can either be faster in your movement or be faster in getting your aim back on track.
#3 – Aoife Rua-D
- Outlaw, Feeding Frenzy, Explosive Rounds/Snapshot
This roll is reload city. Outlaw will grant insane reload speed on precision kills, and Feeding Frenzy (the star of this week) will give you a lesser bonus in case you have to settle for a body shot. While Explosive Rounds is an option here, be wary that sometimes, they can interfere with the activation of Outlaw. Then again, that allows Feeding Frenzy to act as a failsafe for guaranteed reload bonus! Snapshot is a standard option otherwise, granting a simple handling bonus for aiming speed. Arc damage is a priority in the raid due to the power of Taken Centurions, so don’t be afraid to infuse this gun up for raid purposes.
Any – Uzume RR4
- Grenadier, Injection Mold, Zen Moment/Underdog
This is about as good as it can get from an Uzume RR4. In PvP, Underdog and Injection Mold make a deadly combination for quick handling, and they go well with the low-zoom Faucon SS1 scope. Zen Moment is a standard for boss melting in PvE, allowing you to re-focus your aim quicker as you deal damage. Grenadier isn’t the best perk around, but it can reward you for kills in either PvE or PvP, so it’s certainly not a deal-breaker given how good the rest of the picture is here. Void damage can do some work on Taken Wizards and the rare shielded Taken Acolytes, but overall, you won’t see as much of a need for void damage as you would solar or arc.

Next Week’s Orders
Weapon | Type | Impact | Notable Stat |
SUROS ARI-45 | Auto Rifle | High | Range (54) |
Lyudmila-D | Pulse Rifle | High | Range (63) |
Kumakatok HC4 | Hand Cannon | Medium-Low | AimA (74) |
SUROS DIS-43 | Scout Rifle | Medium | Range (77) |
Strongbow-D | Shotgun | Low | Stability (56) |
SUROS ARI-45
This is a slower rate of fire Auto Rifle with a very balanced, middle-of-the-pack stat blend. Overall, it will need a boost to stability in order to become a reliable Crucible threat, but it’s base 48 range and high aim assistance (54) should keep it viable in most engagements.
Hakke Lyudmila-D
Hakke pulse rifles have taken a hit in recent balancing updates, but this is still Hakke’s highest impact model. It has base range of 63 and stability of 54, so we’ll want to preserve the range while increasing stability to laser-like levels, and a reload perk like Feeding Frenzy would be icing on the cake. Counterbalance is going to be the key, as Hakke Pulse Rifles have an awkward recoil pattern that needs to be corrected for maximum accuracy.
OMOLON Kumakatok HC4
This is a Down and Doubt 00-0 clone. It has a unique low-impact archetype with decent stability and great aim assistance. Without a range buff, this gun’s 15 range may only be good enough for low-stakes PvE. However, OMOLON offers us plenty of chances for Firefly and Triple Tap, so this gun could definitely shine in Strikes and questing situations.
SUROS DIS-43
This Scout Rifle falls in a Vision of Confluence archetype, and with a magazine size of 19 (pending database errors), it should be great for PvE despite its stability issues (base 48). With a range of 77, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a situation where this Scout Rifle isn’t hitting for full damage.
Hakke Strongbow-D
This shotgun is no different than the Dead Orbit’s Patch-A, the Crucible Quartermaster’s The Next Big Thing or the test shotguns we’ve been using week to week. Basically, this shotgun is a low-impact, high rate of fire archetype that won’t be preferred in PvP but can work in PvE. With Full Auto, it’s finding a niche in Crucible by emphasizing a higher rate of fire than the normal high-impact shotgun.
