Incoming Shipments
#1 or #2 – Zarinaea-D | Auto Rifle
- Crowd Control, Focused Fire, High Caliber Rounds/Speed Reload/Smallbore
- Hot Swap, Spray and Play, Smallbore/Hand-Loaded
Patrick outlines the benefits of rank 1 in the video above. Or go with rank 2, which is a great PvE roll. Spray and Play is the ultimate DPS perk, allowing you to empty a clip into a boss and get to the next one even faster. Hot Swap isn’t the best perk, but it can make a difference in accuracy when you’re switching to your primary to finish off some enemies from sniping distance. Smallbore is great for an overall stat gain, but if you want to preserve your full clip size and maximize reload speed, go with Hand-Loaded for a bit more range.
#1 – SUROS ARI-41 | Auto Rifle
- Perfect Balance, Reinforced Barrel, Hidden Hand
This roll properly addresses this gun’s stat deficiencies while also giving it some extra utility in PvP. We know you might be wondering why we’d ever want to use Reinforced Barrel and reduce a gun’s stability. Well, this gun already has really high stability, but it has absolutely terrible base range. We need to get its range up in any way possible, and Perfect Balance can compensate for what Reinforced Barrel takes away. Hidden Hand is a great bonus for accuracy, being highly preferred for PvP players and definitely not bad for PvE.
Any – SUROS PDX-45 | Pulse Rifle
- Fitted Stock, Headseeker, Smallbore/Snapshot
- Perfect Balance, Take a Knee, Reinforced Barrel
- Fitted Stock, Counterbalance, Smallbore
If you’re here for PvE rolls, pick up Rank #1’s roll. Headseeker gives this roll a step up on the other two, boosting DPS on bosses and majors alike. Fitted Stock and Smallbore is just overkill, taking an already stable gun, adding more range and even more stability. If you want to preserve your magazine size and reload speed, you can go with Snapshot instead of Smallbore.
As for PvP, we’re completely torn between Rank #2 and Rank #3. It comes down to this: Counterbalance on Rank #3 is better than Take a Knee on #2, but Reinforced Barrel on #2 makes way more sense than Smallbore on Rank #3. If you don’t care about Counterbalance, Rank #2 makes perfect sense for you, as Reinforced Barrel takes the gun’s range to seriously competitive PvP levels. If you need that straight up and down recoil of Counterbalance, take Rank #3, as Smallbore can give you enough range to get by.
#1 – Aoife Rua-D | Sniper Rifle
- Surplus, Feeding Frenzy, Perfect Balance/Injection Mold
As pointed out by a commenter previously, this Hakke Sniper Rifle is one of very few in The Taken King that can roll Surplus, which is an incredibly powerful perk for ammo management. This roll combines the beauty of Surplus with the reload boost of Feeding Frenzy and the boss-burning assistance of Perfect Balance or Injection Mold. If you want to take out the trash with this gun, it will reward you with faster reloads, and if you choose to burn bosses with it, Perfect Balance or Injection Mold will save you time compensating for recoil between shots.
#1 – Uzume RR4 | Sniper Rifle
- Grenadier, Hand-Laid Stock, Zen Moment/Mulligan
Overall, we’ve got a few rolls here that fall short of awesome, but Rank #1 can give us the best performance in both PvE and PvP. You can’t go wrong with Hand-Laid Stock for either game mode, as it takes this gun’s already great stability and pushes it towards perfection. Zen Moment will take this even further for the purpose of DPSing a boss in PvE. For PvP, Mulligan may be a better choice, giving you the chance to save a bullet here and there on missed shots. The key for this roll in PvP is the short-range Faucon SS1 scope, offering a much better chance at close-quarters headshots than any other scope. Grenadier offers benefit in both game modes with a no-frills grenade cooldown reduction.

Next Week’s Orders
Weapon | Type | Impact | Notable Stat |
Arminius-D | Auto Rifle | Lowest | Reload (76) |
Uffern HC4 | Hand Cannon | Medium-High | Stability (70) |
Herja-D | Pulse Rifle | Medium | Stability (72) |
Eirene RR4 | Sniper | Second-Highest | AA (21) |
Uzume RR4 | Sniper | Low | Reload (75) |
Arminius-D | Auto Rifle
Think of a Necrochasm, but with less stability and quick reload speed. With its stat blend, this gun will need a lot of help to be competitive, but we’ll see next week if there are enough perks offered to shore up the stability while providing some use in either PvE or PvP.
Uffern HC4 | Hand Cannon
Uffern & The Vanity have Impact that’s higher than Hawkmoon, and will probably look and feel nice due to Omolon’s design. The base stability of 70 is nice, but the low range might make it less viable.
Herja-D | Pulse Rifle
This comes in with a fantastic 72 stability and 68 reload speed, so next week, we’ll be looking for Counterbalance to correct the awkward Hakke recoil pattern and more stability to make it a laser in PvE and PvP.
Uzume RR4 | Sniper Rifle
This Sniper Rifle shares the impact/RoF class of the Eye of Sol, but it packs way more base stability at 58. In non-revive game modes, this is a great option for getting quick headshots or double tapping for body shot kills. We’ll be looking for something like Triple Tap or Zen Moment for PvE while hoping for a Faucon SS1 low-zoom scope for PvP.
Eirene RR4 | Sniper Rifle
Similar to Her Benevolence, with a bit more impact, this sniper can kill revived opponents with headshots in the Crucible as well as add more damage to bosses in PvE. We’ll be praying for the Faucon SS1 Scope for the shortest zoom, but even with a bad scope, this sniper’s Impact will warrant usage in the raid as well as Skirmish, Elimination and Salvage.
