Incoming Shipments
#1 or 2 – SUROS ARI-41
- Fitted Stock/Casket Mag | Lightweight/Smallbore | Unflinching
- Hammer Forged/Oiled Frame | Lightweight/Injection Mold | Glass Half Full
- High Caliber Rounds/Casket Mag | Speed Reload/Reinforced Barrel | Unflinching
With these range boosts, the ARI-41 is going to look more and more like the Monte Carlo. Hammer Forged is the best you can get for range with no drawbacks, while Smallbore give both stability and range. Unflinching is okay for the Crucible and next to useless in PvE.
#1 or 3 – Zarinaea-D
- Danger Close | Persistence | Snapshot/Hand Loaded/Rifled Barrel
- Danger Close | Rodeo | Snapshot/Fitted Stock/Rifled Barrel
- Hot Swap | Counterbalance | High Caliber/Hand Loaded/Braced Frame
Rifled Barrel / Persistence is the combination lock, giving you the effective range of 3 movie-magicked nail-guns combined! Take your pick of the scopes, and remember to use Danger Close as a warning system before rounding corners – it’ll let you know if that one red blip is actually two enemies preparing to team-shoot you.
#3 also has got plenty of stability with Counterbalance and Braced Frame along with Hot Swap to give your bullets more accuracy at range. This Auto Rifle should be great for people who love sniping. After a quick switch to this gun, Hot Swap’s bonus will ensure you have the best chance at fending off anyone who dared rush your position.
#1 – SUROS DIS-43
- Hammer Forged, Zen Moment, Injection Mold
When it comes to stats, this roll is hard to beat. You’ll get more range from Hammer Forged, more stability from Zen Moment and more handling from Injection Mold. At the minimum, this roll will be really comfortable in PvE. As for PvP, you won’t be able to rely on Zen Moment as much, so it rates a bit lower. If you’re waiting for Full Auto, obviously you’ll want to keep this package for later, but if you are willing to pull your own trigger, Rank #1’s roll isn’t a bad Scout Rifle to pick up.
#3 – SUROS JLB-47
- Heavy Payload / Flared Magwell – Tripod – Perfect Balance / Quickdraw
- Heavy Payload / Speed Reload – Who’s Next? – Perfect Balance /Snapshot
- Single Point Sling / Flared Magwell – Grenades & Horseshoes – Perfect Balance / Lightweight
Roll #3 not only boasts Grenades and Horseshoes, but there’s a couple more things to be excited about. Single-Point Sling can save your life in both PvE and PvP when you need your rocket to fire as soon as possible. Also, it’s nice to see Arc damage on a Rocket Launcher, so give those Taken Centurions all you’ve got! However, at the end of the day, the proximity detonation from Grenades and Horseshoes is the star here, turning your rockets into lasers rather than projectiles.
Run with SPS if you’re a Hunter, but use Flared Magwell if you’re a Warlock or Titan with a Rocket Ammo chestpiece. Lightweight is right choice for all classes, enhancing your ability to jump out of the way of enemy rockets even as you fire your own. Enjoy!
#3? – Jingukogo-D
- Close&Personal / Full auto / Flared Magwell – Fitted Stock – Oiled frame
We didn’t expect too much out of the Jingukogo-D, but we’re still disappointed with the rolls this week. If you want a good mid-impact shotgun, you’ll need to hang on to this package. At the minimum, you’ll want range-boosting perks like Hand-Loaded and Field Choke, and after that, you’ll want something like Rangefinder or Full Auto depending on your style of play.

Notable Rolls from Other Weapons
Omolon Thesan FR4
- Army of One – Lightweight / Braced Frame – Rangefinder / Exhumed
This is a functional roll thanks to Braced Frame and Torch, but we have seen SO MANY better ones I can’t advise taking it.
Omolon Cocytus SR4
- Rescue Mag – Quickdraw/Feather Mag – Zen Moment/Eye of the Storm
This is pretty close to a perfect PVP roll for the Cocytus, so if you’ve been holding out: don’t wait any longer! Torch is your accuracy booster while Quickdraw speeds both weapon swapping and ADS time. Take your pick of ZenM versus EofS, but Eye does combo with Rescue Mag to make you surprisingly effective while under fire.
Suros DIS-47
- Perfect Balance/Appended Magazine | Full Auto | Lightweight/Hand-laid Stock
Picking up roll 3 here is like getting an oil change for your personal armory – sure, you could skip it and just pour in new oil on top of the old, but don’t come crying to me when you realize your mistake. The right tool for the right job, this fully automatic, max stability scout rifle is ideally suited for mid-range combat in contained spaces. Not sure what more to say, but your thumbs will thank you.
Suros ARI-45
- Hammer Forged/Oiled Frame | Snapshot/Injection Mold | Hip Fire
- Perfect Balance/Casket Mag | Snapshot/Reinforced Barrel | Private Eye
Roll 1 was my first pick here thanks to being a solid roll for both up close and longer range fighting, but let’s be honest for a moment: up close there are too many weapons with much faster TTK. This is an auto rifle that needs to keep its distance, and Roll 2 is perfect for that. Perfect Balance + Reinforced Barrel gives you great effective range with compromising your Stability. Private Eye is…not really my ideal perk, but who knows? Maybe we’ll all be surprised. Final Answer: Roll 2.
Suros PDX-45
- Hammer Forged / Appended Mag | Counterbalance | Single Point Sling / Rifled Barrel
Roll 3 is just too perfect. Disgusting range and zero horizontal recoil make this gun’s default setting “headshot”. You’ll actually have to aim away from people on purpose to miss them.

Next Week’s Orders
Weapon | Type | Impact | Notable Stat |
Kumakatok HC4 | Hand Cannon | Medium-Low | Stability (60) |
Zarinaea-D | Auto Rifle
|
Medium | Reload (65) |
SUROS PDX-41 | Pulse Rifle | Medium | Stability (68) |
SUROS JLB-42 | Rocket Launcher | N/A | Velocity (67) |
Tamar-D | Sniper Rifle | Medium | Reload (66) |
Kumakatok HC4
This is a Down and Doubt 00-0 clone. It has a unique low-impact archetype with decent stability and great aim assistance. Abysmal range and yet so much potential – this gun’s maximum rate of fire is nearly impossible to realize. However, OMOLON offers us plenty of chances for Firefly and Triple Tap, so this gun could definitely shine in Strikes and questing situations.
Zarinaea-D
This gun fires as fast as the Zhalo Supercell and sports some balanced stats. With stability of 60, reload speed of 65 and aim assistance of 60, this gun can work if you enjoy the impact archetype. We’ll want some more range next week, but reload speed could also make this gun fun in PvE.
SUROS PDX-41
No, this isn’t the fast-firing PDX-45! The PDX-41 is actually a medium rate of fire pulse rifle (think Red Death archetype) with more range than the PDX-45. It still has great reload speed, stability and solid aim assistance, so this is a must-order if you want another competitive primary for PvP play!
This reach-extending device has the potential to be the ultimate in sniper-denying technology. With best-in-class Stability right out of the box, I encourage you to look for maximum range and accuracy to guarantee that every shot is a headshot. Swap it out with a Shotgun, Sidearm, or even a Fusion Rifle for the closer-in work and you’re in business.
Tamar-D
The Tamar-D has equivalent Impact to the Low-Grade Humility and Patience and Time. However, with a base stability of 36, you’ll best be aiming for headshots and not double-taps. If you like sniping in PvE, order one of these! Hakke snipers can roll with Surplus, which really helps with ammo scarcity in PvE. Hakke’s scopes are a bit different than the ones offered by the Vanguard and Crucible Quartermasters, so you may have to adapt to use this gun in high-stakes PvP.
SUROS JLB-42
Nearly perfect stats on this Rocket Launcher make it a strong choice for Trials of Osiris. When Grenades & Horseshoes rolls, it’s almost flawless, except for one little problem: the major downside is that it only picks up 2 Rockets per Heavy Ammo brick, even with Rocket Ammo Boots. You’ll need rocket ammo bonuses from a chest piece to get an extra Rocket – combo that with boots to get yourself up to 4 shots.
