We’ve been talking about The Dark Below a lot lately, and for good reason – it’s being released on December 9th!
This article will serve as a complete guide to everything we know about the new Tower vendor, Eris Morn.
Update: The following video is now missing some of the bounties, as more were added to the game since we published it – but we’ve outlined them all in this article.

Reputation
Among the last of those Guardians who faced Crota, Eris works in the shadows to bring about his end.
As you complete bounties and quests for Eris, you’ll increase your Crota’s Bane reputation.

Increasing your reputation will allow you to purchase items.
The confirmed faction rewards are the following:

It’s unknown how we’ll acquire these, but I’d guess it’s from completing the content she has for us, which you can read further below in this article.
[divider]Legendary Gauntlets & Murmur
Finally, the best gear she has (for sale?) are powerful gauntlets – 1 per class:
These gauntlets have random perks, which you can see on the items’ pages.
Murmur
Murmur is a Rare fusion rifle rewarded from Eris, and it can eventually be upgraded to its Legendary version, also called Murmur.
Update: Bungie streamlined the process of obtaining the Legendary Murmur, by simply having it as a quest reward, though you’ll still need to use a Runed Core to upgrade its defense to the fullest.

| The Cleansing* | Kill any Majors or Ultras in a Nightfall activity. |
| The Unseen | While invisible, land the killing blow on a Hive Wizard with a Sniper Rifle. |
| The Wakening | Stop the Hive from summoning Crota’s soul in “The Wakening” on the Moon with the Heroic modifier active. |
| The Will of Crota | Exterminate Omingul and her spawn in The Will of Crota Strike on Earth. |

Black Wax Idols will be used much more in The Dark Below. As you’ve noticed, Xûr no longer sells Heavy Ammo Synthesis; it’s being sold by Eris now. She’s currently selling them for 5 Black Wax Idols each. She also sells some Legendary materials for the Idols as well, which you can read about here.

Xûr will be involved in the final ritual process, so you’ll need to wait for him to complete this.
