No Backup Plans

In addition to lengthening Force Barrier, you can proc Disintegrate’s benefits with a Shotgun kill, providing you have a active melee charge. This works well with an aggressive Titan skating build in PvP. If you’re running these gauntlets, you should be all in with your build. That means a Shotgun for a secondary, and this roll provides the necessary buff to Reload Speed to ensure that you’ll never be caught with your pants down. Of course, if you really want that extended duration but have no interest in running a Shotgun, it never hurts to reroll for Sniper Reload Speed. Then, spec War Machine for lightning fast reloads for when you run Shotgun.

ATS/8 Tarantella

This chest piece innately packs defense against Arc damage, and simultaneously improves the recharge speed of both Arc grenades and Arc Blade. For an offensive Bladedancer who wants to be able to sponge some otherwise deadly fire, it’s a perfect pick. If you’re not convinced, take a look at the last two perks, which provide additional defense against Arc burns, or just free Armor for a Bladedancer using them.

Heart of the Praxic Fire

Sunsingers retain a niche as the only roaming Warlock Super in which you can make 7-8 orbs, whereas Stormcaller tops out at 5-6. Heart of the Praxic Fire overcharges your grenade, allowing you to get off (on average) 1 to a maximum of 3 more grenades, depending on your Discipline. This might not seem like much, but it’s a vertical increase in damage potential, and can even bank a couple of Grenade charges for after your Super ends, if you’re running Gift of the Sun.

It’s a great fix for a lower Discipline score hurting Fireborn/Radiance’s offensive potential. In PvP, one or two extra grenades might mean the difference between a kill and a death.
