On this note, Phil Spencer (Head of Xbox) tweeted, In the most recent Major Nelson podcast, Phil Spencer even mentioned that he has been visiting Bungie’s studio as of late. Stating that Bungie will receive the new June SDK soon to “up the resolution of Destiny” on Xbox One. I’ve been spending a lot of time over there…they’re gonna pick up

Destiny’s Activity Structure Explained

One of Bungie’s lead designers on Destiny, Luke Smith, commented on a Neogaf thread in response to the leaked alpha gameplay. His comment helps clarify the way in which Destiny is broken down into different activities. PS Users Receive 4 Days of Beta Exclusivity

Datto posted a sweet little Destiny nugget in a recent ad featured on GamesRadar. The ad announced that Playstation users will receive access to the Destiny beta four days before Xbox users.  Also in the ad are the three guardian classes suited up in armor that has yet to be seen previously. Hopefully this will calm many Xbox players’ worries of Playstation users getting much larger benefits than Xbox players. Four days is nothing compared to the years most have been waiting to play. To give you some perspective, the official Destiny twitter also made mention that Xbox players will

LEAKED Gameplay Videos

Leaked (poor quality) gameplay videos have emerged. Whoever made these videos is of course breaching the NDA for the alpha, but they are entertaining to watch nonetheless. We see an early glimpse of the leveling process and what rewards are earned. The gameplay features a single player game mode which takes place in Old Russia. Talk about this and more on our community forums. [divider] Update: It seems that all of the videos have been taken down. The mind can wander, drink in the high-altitude scenery, and probe for answers to the questions that propel us forward on our quest. Will this mission be rewarding? Who might we meet

Marty O’Donnell is Suing Bungie

Update: Apparently O’Donnell is only suing Bungie’s CEO, Harold Ryan, and not the whole Bungie company. This is a headline you probably never wanted to read, but unfortunately it is true. Legendary music composer Marty O’Donnell has filed a lawsuit against Bungie following his termination from the company this past April. The claim filed against Bungie and its chief executive, Harold Ryan, is in response to Bungie’s neglect to pay O’Donnell for things like paid time off, unpaid vacation time, and other instances. [yframe url=’http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LKpFuA6JGs’] O’Donnell was terminated “without cause” this past April which has had the Halo and Destiny
