Incoming Shipments

#1 – Thesan FR4 | Fusion Rifle

  • Grenadier, Braced Frame, Underdog

With 94 Impact and 81 Stability, it will be good with any perks.  Of course, that doesn’t mean that perks can’t help it; this gun can benefit from range perks, and reload speed is always key in Crucible and Raids.

Okay, so this week’s rolls are nowhere near as awesome as the first time this gun was sold. That’s okay though; Rank #1’s roll isn’t bad at all. Underdog is actually pretty good in the Crucible for Fusion Rifles, because often, you’ll be charging your shots while someone is shooting at you. Braced Frame takes stability to the max, so you’ll be looking at a high impact fusion rifle absolutely no recoil.

#1 or #2 – Herja-D | Pulse Rifle

  • Last Resort, Counterbalance, Fitted Stock
  • Headseeker, Full Auto, High Caliber Rounds/Fitted Stock/Oiled Frame

The Herja-D has the impact archetype of the Vanguard’s Apple of Discord. It comes in with a fantastic 72 stability and 68 reload speed, so we’ll always be looking for Counterbalance to correct the awkward Hakke recoil pattern and more stability to make it a laser in PvE and PvP.

This week brings some underwhelming rolls for the Herja-D. While Rank #1 offers Counterbalance to fix the recoil pattern, Last Resort and Fitted Stock won’t rock the world in the Crucible like Hand-Laid Stock and Headseeker could. You may want to wait a week for a new roll, but for now, Rank #1’s roll gives us a solid gun for Elimination game modes with Last Resort’s niche bonus, and #2’s Headseeker/Full Auto combo isn’t a bad option either.

#2 – SUROS PDX-45 | Pulse Rifle

  • Fitted Stock/Casket Mag, Counterbalance, Snapshot/Injection Mold

A member of the low impact archetype, the PDX-45 may be the first pulse to compete with the very popular Hawksaw. This week, the second roll offers strong stability options with Fitted Stock, Counterbalance and Injection Mold. If you like stable pulse rifles, the PDX definitely gives the vendor Hawksaw roll a run for its money.

This is the first time this gun has been offered for order by the Gunsmith. It falls in the same impact category as the Crucible Quartermaster’s Hawksaw but with more stability, reload and aim assistance. There are a number of perk combinations that will work for this gun, but we’ll also be looking for a good scope. The gun has 22 base range, so we’ll definitely need a fix.

Rank #2’s roll seems incredible, but it’s not as perfect as it seems. We’d really like some more range for this gun with no drawback, so we can’t recommend using Injection Mold with confidence, as it takes range down to dangerous lows. However, with Fitted Stock, you should be looking at almost maximum stability with no range penalty. Counterbalance should make aiming a breeze in PvE and PvP, and the SRO-41 scope does the job in highlighting enemies with charged supers in the Crucible. Overall, this is still a great roll, and you’ll see this in Iron Banner frequently this week.

#2 – Lyudmila-D | Pulse Rifle

  • Glass Half Full, Counterbalance, Hand-Laid Stock

This beast of a pulse rifle is capable of a two-burst kill… if you can control it. With the Hakke signature burst of 4 bullets and the highest impact on a pulse (coupled with lowest rate of fire, naturally), the Lyudmila-D can certainly pack a punch. The major downside is the serious vertical rise during each pulse. This week the second option brings Glass Half Full, Counter Balance, and Hand laid stock. It’s about as good a roll to expect on this gun.

This is Hakke’s highest impact Pulse Rifle. We will always recommend placing a few orders for these, as with a solid roll, this gun can be the next best thing to an exotic primary in PvP. It has base range of 63 and stability of 54, so we’ll want to preserve the range while increasing stability to laser-like levels.

This is the week, ladies and gentleman. The Lyudmila-D can’t get much better than this. Glass Half Full is a no-drawback perk that offers a small DPS increase, Counterbalance fixes the awkward recoil pattern and Hand-Laid Stock turns this gun into a laser without destroying the gun’s range. There isn’t much else to say; this roll has little to no drawbacks. Be prepared to see this Lyudmila-D dominate the rest of The Taken King.

 #1 – Strongbow-D | Shotgun

  • Last Resort, Final Round, Rifled Barrel

This week, the Strongbow-D pretends to be a good Crucible shotgun. Final Round and Rifled Barrel are as good as it gets for competitive damage and range, and Last Resort isn’t the worst perk for Trials of Osiris. However, with this gun’s low impact and range, you won’t be able to punish revives and get decisive kills like you could with a Conspiracy Theory-D. We’d wait until next week to see if we can get a roll that stands out in PvE.

Next Week’s Orders

Weapon Type Impact Notable Stat
Zarinaea-D Auto Rifle Low Stability (60)
Kumakatok HC4 Handcannon Low Aim Assistance (74)
SUROS JLB-42 Rocket Launcher Medium (Blast Radius) Stability (52)
SUROS JLB-47 Rocket Launcher Medium (Blast Radius Velocity (74)
Strongbow-D Shotgun Medium Rate of Fire (23)

Zarinaea-D | Auto Rifle

This gun fires as fast as the Zhalo Supercell and sports some balanced stats. With stability of 60, reload speed of 65 and aim assistance of 60, this gun can work if you enjoy the impact archetype. We’ll want some more range next week, but reload speed could also make this gun fun in PvE.

Kumakatok HC4 | Hand Cannon

This is a Down and Doubt 00-0 clone. It has a unique low-impact archetype with decent stability and great aim assistance. With a range of only 15, unless next week’s rolls fix the range, they will be limited to PvE only. However, OMOLON offers us plenty of chances for Firefly and Triple Tap, so this gun could definitely shine in Strikes and questing situations.

Strongbow-D | Shotgun

This shotgun is no different than the Dead Orbit’s Patch-A, the Crucible Quartermaster’s The Next Big Thing or the test shotguns we’ve been using week to week. Basically, this shotgun is a low-impact, high rate of fire archetype that won’t be preferred in PvP but can work in PvE. We’ll look to see if there are any interesting rolls next week regardless, as this is the first shotgun offered for order.

SUROS JLB-47 & SUROS JLB-42 | Rocket Launcher

These two rocket launchers are incredibly similar, with the JLB-47 having more Velocity and less Stability. With a high blast radius of 84 and magazine size of 2, these launchers will give you everything you need to hit your targets, and we highly recommend placing an order either one or both next week. If you place an order on both of them, you have a higher chance at getting some nice perks, but if you have to pick one, go with the JLB-47 for the higher Velocity.
